Dirt High Promotions, known as the promoter, will conduct the meeting in accordance with the General Competition Rules of Motorcycling Australia (GCR’s), these supplementary regulations & any additions or amendments approved by Motorcycling Western Australia.

- JURISDICTION
2.1. The abovementioned Event has been authorised by Motorcycling Western Australia which has issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit Number’s (TBA) and is open to holders of current Senior National License’s holders.
2.2. The meeting will be held in accordance with the current General Competition Rules (GCRs), these Supplementary Regulations, MA policies, and any final instructions approved by Motorcycling Western Australia. By entering this meeting all parties agree to comply with such rules, regulations, by-laws and instructions.

- ENTRIES
4.1. Entries will be online through Ridernet.
4.2. Entry Fee includes transponder hire.
4.3. Entries will close at midnight the Tuesday prior to each event, late entries will be accepted until Thursday Evening 7pm subject to a late fee of $ 70.
4.4. In the case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all or any part of the entry fee may be retained by the Promoter, subject to the prior express approval of Motorcycling Western Australia.
4.5. Entry fees will only be refunded if a rider informs the Race Secretary, in writing, 7 days before the event and a cancellation fee of $ 20 will be incurred to cover administration costs.
4.6. A medical certificate is required if a rider withdraws less than 7 days before the event.

- ENTRY PASSES FOR SPECTATORS AND RIDERS Entry to the venue is free. Passes will not be issued.
Spectators ARE NOT permitted to venture within 6 metres of the course.
7.1. Those who hold an MA licence current for the duration of the Event, and officials, who are signed on for the Event are covered by MA’s National Personal Accident Scheme which provides basic cover for rehabilitation expenses and death and permanent disability benefits. For more information see Insurance – Motorcycling Australia (ma.org.au).
7.2. Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees.
It is strongly recommended that competitors consider taking out weekly benefits insurance.

- MEDICAL SERVICES
8.1. A medical team will be in attendance for this event.
8.2. First Aid MUST be accepted wherever deemed necessary by the attending first aides.
8.3. The Steward and/or Clerk of Course has the right to refuse further racing of a rider if first aid requirements are not adhered to.
8.4. The Steward will collect information from the injury reports and relay this to the MWA office where it will be recorded that you require a certificate before you can compete in any further events.
8.5. Any rider transported via Ambulance or private vehicle will require a medical certificate prior to competing in any further events.
Non-Concussion related Injury
Where a rider injury (resulting in suspension) does not involve a concussion injury, any accompanying medical clearance certificate must state that XX is medically cleared to participate in motorcycle activity from … (date).
Concussion Injury
All Concussions will be delt with using the Motorcycling Australia Concussion Management Guidelines.
Where a rider has been subject to a concussion injury, please note that a mandatory exclusion period as per the below.
Medical Clearance is required prior to any practice or competition using the Motorcycling Australia Return to Sport form available from https://www.ma.org.au/medical-concussion/
Adults
To compete again, athletes need to undergo a 10-day non-riding period AND be symptom free AND get medical clearance.
- TRANSPONDERS
9.1. Transponders will be compulsory at these events. It is compulsory to have purchased and fitted a transponder bracket prior to this meeting.
Transponder brackets are available for purchase for $17.50 from Motorcycling WA or at the event. You must supply your own cable ties.
9.2. All teams will be required to share a transponder for the team for the duration of the event. With this transponder to be swapped between machines for each lap of the race. For prologue the same will apply with transponder to be shared for the team to achieve an individual lap time for each rider if they choose to do so.
Condition of entry:
9.3. When a transponder is transferred to the competitor, it is the competitor’s responsibility for any repairs or replacement cost of the transmitter, if damaged or lost.
9.4. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure the transponder is mounted correctly, and securely to prevent damage from fouling other components on the machine.
9.5. It is the competitor’s responsibility if transponders are returned in good condition at the end of the event, or if due to machine failure or injury before the machine leaves the pit area. Competitors WILL be fined $50 for not returning transponders on the day.
9.6. Transponders must be returned to the designated area/person as advised at the riders briefing.
9.7. If you do not return your transponders within 30 minutes from the conclusion of racing you will have 7 days to return your transponder to the MWA Office. If you do not return it within 7 days, you will receive a $350.00 replacement invoice and your licence will be instantly suspended until you return the transponder or you pay the invoice.
9.8. Transponders must be fitted for all practice sessions.
NOTE: The onus is on the guardian/rider to ensure transponders are on machines prior to each event and for teams prior to each lap of the course.
- SCRUTINEERING
10.1. Scrutineering times will be listed in the final instructions.
10.2. All Machines entered in the competition must comply with the 2025 GCRs.
10.3. Scrutineering will be online self-scrutineering for all classes and must be completed prior to sign on at each round. Incomplete online forms cannot be accepted. (i.e., incomplete, or incorrect vin#)
10.4. Prior to signing on please present to the Scrutineer to confirm we have received your form, and all is correct.
10.5. Random Scrutineering and Eligibility checks will be carried out at any time during the event for all classes.
10.6. Scrutineers will report any rider that has been found to have supplied misleading information or not complied with the self-scrutineering form, to the Clerk of Course for their actioning. Penalties will apply for failure to comply or supplying misleading information, including up to but not limited to exclusion from that Event.
10.7. Machines which suffer accident damage in practice or race sessions must be re-examined by the Scrutineer before participating again.
10.8. Machines will not be sealed for later checking after the event. All machines that are to be pulled down and scrutineered will take place at the circuit before the machine is released by the Scrutineer. A member of the rider’s team must be always available to carry out the strip down under the control of the Scrutineer. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in this matter being referred to the Clerk of Course for further action.
10.9. In addition to supervising the pulling down and checking of machines after official protests have been received by the Clerk of Course in accordance with the GCRs, the Steward can order that any machine be measured and if this occurs the Scrutineer will supervise a team member to pull down any machine that has taken part in the event. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in this matter being referred to the Clerk of Course for further action.
10.10. Cameras may be fitted to the Motorcycle provided they are securely mounted. Camera mounts are subject to approval by the Chief Scrutineer. Helmet cameras are not permitted unless the camera is integrated into the helmet, by design of the manufacturer.
10.11. Tear off NOT permitted at enduro events.

- ELECTRIC MACHINES
11.1. Only machines on the Electric Motorcycle Approved Competition List will be allowed to compete.
11.2. All Machines must meet Australian Standards for Electric Vehicles and pass scrutineering prior to being permitted to compete.
11.3. All electric machines must comply with Appendix D of the Manual of Motorcycle Sport (MoMS).
11.4. Charging with OEM wall socket charger up to 3.5Kw/h may be done following the guidelines of the manufacturer in the general paddock area. The charging system must be automatic and must ensure that the battery cannot be overcharged or damaged if left permanently connected to the charger
11.5. Riders need to supply their own separate fast charging station in controlled area to allow safe fast charging of electric. Machines or removeable batteries. It is not permitted to fast charge Machines in the general paddock area.
12.1 With the exception of Ironman, all classes are teams will consist of two riders with two machines, a single machine for teams will be accepted. A team may also consist of three riders and three machines however the promoter reserves the right to handicap these teams as appropriate.

13.1. Riders may display their Motorcycling WA issued race number (MX or Enduro) on the front plate and side plates. This number should be nominated in the entry. If an MWA issued number is duplicated, the enduro rider will take preference and an alternative number will be issued to replace the mx number.
13.2. If a rider does not nominate a number during their entry they will be issued with a race number and stickers at registration.
13.3. Number plates should be kept as clean and visible during the race.
- ENTRIES TO CONSTITUTE A CLASS
14.1. To constitute a class a minimum of 3 individual entries or 3 teams entered.
14.2. Should there be insufficient entries in any class of competition, the decision to run or cancel the class, or to combine events and re-distribute any awards, will be at the discretion of the Promoter, subject to the prior express approval of the RCB.
- STARTS AND FINISHES
15.1. Prologue start will be individual at 10 sec intervals.
15.2. Race Start will as per prologue order results and will not be a mass start, riders leaving at 2 sec intervals.
15.3. The chequered flag will be displayed to signal the race has finished.
Stationary Yellow Flag – Danger Ride cautiously
Waved Yellow Flag – Danger, Prepare to stop, No Overtaking, reduce speed, no jumping. Green Flag – Start of race or course is clear.
Red Flag – Race or practice stopped. Competitors must slow down and return to start. Do not go back to pits unless instructed from Clerk. Black Flag – Competitor with number indicated the board must stop at the pits at the next lap.
Black & White Chequered flag waved – Finish of Race.
17.1. Practice – All competitors will be offered a sight lap prior to prologue on Saturday and sighting lap will be offered prior to race start on Sunday.

For the purposes of drug and alcohol testing, the commencement of the meeting will be deemed to be Sign On Friday 3pm with the completion of the meeting for the participant being when the participant has vacated the venue.
- PROTESTS
19.1. Any protest must
- Be in writing.
- Be accompanied by the prescribed fee of $100 (plus the applicable bond under GCR 5.1.7 where the protest involves the measurement of an engine or component.
- Be received by the Clerk of Course and conveyed to the Steward.
- Comply with the following time limits:
- For a protest under sub-Rules a) and b) of the previous GCR, thirty (30) minutes after being informed of the decision.
- For a protest under sub-Rule c) of the previous GCR being within thirty (30) minutes of such action or conduct.
19.2. The following additional requirements apply to all competitors who are under the age of 16 years and seeking to protest the action or conduct of any other competitor, Official or Support Person during Competition:
- A protest may only be made by a competitor.
- The competitor must indicate the intent to protest to an Official prior to returning to the pits.
- The Clerk of Course must designate an area, to be announced at the riders’ briefing and to be marked by a purple flag, where an Official must be present to note any indications of protest.
- No discussion on the content of the protest may take place at the marked position; and
- A competitor who indicates an intent to protest must return to the pits and present the protest to the Clerk of Course within the time limits referred to in the previous rule.
20.1. At each round 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded for each competitive class.
20.2. Outright places will be awarded at the final round on the 31st August for all classes with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each class.
Presentations will be held 30 minutes after completion of the final race.
22.1. All machines entered must comply with the current GCRs for Enduro and Reliability Trials.
22.2. Multiple machines are allowed however must all have an individual scrutineering form for each machine and/or inspected and accepted by the event scrutineer.
22.3. Change is only allowed in the designated pit area.
22.4. For teams only one rider and machine are allowed on the course at one time.
22.5. With regards to teams, one rider must have completed no less than 30% of the completed laps for the team in this event.
22.6. Riders who stop to assist a fallen rider may request via the Clerk Of Course compassionate time.
22.7. Any rider who leaves the track for any reason i.e.; mechanical breakdown may re-join but the re-start must occur at the start/finish line and be notified to the scoring team.
- GRID POSITIONS
23.1. Will be determined from the Prologue times sorted by fastest to slowest and any riders not completing or finishing prologue will start at rear of grid in race number order.
23.2. The promoter reserves the right to grade any Clubman teams with a prologue lap time within 15% of the events fastest rider in prologue.
A riders’ briefing will be held Saturday 3pm prior to Sighting Lap and Prologue and Sunday 7:45am prior to the commencement Sighting Lap which ALL competitors MUST attend.
The course will be approximately 1 loop between 16km’s and 24km’s long, consisting of Natural Terrain Paddock and grass land.

- TRACK INSPECTION
26.1. All competitors must complete a sight lap of the course.
26.2. Track Dissatisfaction
Competitors who are not satisfied with any aspects of the track can present these concerns to the Clerk of Course. If those concerns cannot be resolved, the competitor will be invited to withdraw from the meeting.
Camping will be available at all rounds, No onsite power and only portable toilets no shower facilities.
Sound testing may take place at any time at the discretion of the Chief Scrutineer or the Clerk of Course. All machines must comply with the GCRs for all sound testing.
29.1. All competitors and officials are advised that drug testing may take place in accordance with MA’s Anti-Doping Policy, as carried out by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority. Refer to MA website for details.
29.2. If any doubts exist over banned substances, it is recommended competitors contact the Drugs in Sport Hotline, ph: 1800 020 506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prizemoney may be delayed at MWA discretion until the results of the tests are known.
All competitors and officials are advised that random drug and alcohol testing may take place during the competition. Refer to MA website for details on the Safety Policy – Drug and Alcohol testing.
All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of MA’s zero tolerance of poor behavior, either on or off track. The codification of the behaviors expected of MA members and all who attend or participate in motorcycling is contained within MA’s policies, including its Member Welfare Policy and its Social Media Policy, which can be found at Policies – Motorcycling Australia (ma.org.au).
It is a condition of entry that consent is given by the entrant/rider and/or parent/guardian for all photographs and electronic images (including moving images) that may be taken during the event by or on behalf of the Promoters, or with permission of the Promoters. All such images are the property of the Promoters and will only be used in accordance with the Motorcycling Australia Member Protection Policy and for the purposes of promotional or other purposes without further consent being required.
- Crossing of the track is not permitted unless permission is granted by the Clerk of Course.
- The carrying or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the pit area or racing circuit is prohibited.
- No animals allowed. Guide dogs and Assistant Animals Excepted
- Enclosed footwear must be worn in the pits at all times.
- Pit bikes, E-scooters, E-Bikes, Bicycles and Non-competition motorcycles are NOT permitted to be ridden at any time at the venue. Please leave them at home.
- Please ensure to take all your rubbish home with you.
