ENTRY INTO VENUE
Everyone needs to pay at the gate. You will receive a wristband which you will need to wear for the weekend.

PIT BIKES
Pit bikes are not permitted into the venue and every motorised recreational vehicle will be treated as a pit bike. Security Staff have been advised of the ruling and will report all instances to the Promoter, failing to abide by this rule will impact on your eligibility or that of your rider to enter into further events promoted by Dirt High Promotions, this ruling may seem trite but because of a small number who have in previous years impacted on other patrons and campers they simply cannot be tolerated.
No electric bikes are permitted in the venue at any time
FLAGGING
We have a full complement of Flag Marshalls for this event, thank you to those who answered the call for flaggies.
If you are interested in being a reserve Flag Marshall for the event, we $100.00 per day, and up to $150 per day for anyone who volunteers for all three days. You will need to pay to enter the venue, but your money will be refunded when you sign on at the scoring tower.

Please allow the juniors to get through registration before you enter, there is no need to come through before 9:30am.
Since we have had problems in the past with riders cutting in onto practice that is not for their class, Seniors will be allocated with a wristband that allows for three practice sessions per rider, once the three tags have been removed from your band you have had all your practice sessions.
Sunday practice will be 3 laps prior to Racing.

NO BYO ALCOHOL
It is against the Liquor act to bring alcohol into the venue as it is Licenced for the weekend, therefore cars will be searched for alcohol and when found it will be confiscated.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Please be aware of the Motorcycling Australia Manual of Motorsport Code of Conduct the behaviour of your Crew and associates reflects upon you. Antisocial behaviour, abuse of officials and any other undesirable behaviour may lead to you being evicted from the event.
DOGS/ANIMALS
Animals are not permitted at a Motorcycling Australia events, Guide dogs Excepted, please ask your crew not to bring their dogs into the event as it compromises our permits and puts our officials under unnecessary pressure to try to evict the animals’ owners.
ONE WAY TRAFFIC
Please abide by the one-way traffic direction whilst in the venue it has been put in place for a reason. For campers you must enter through the main gate and drive around please do not drive through the pits as it creates havoc when the event is underway.
MERCHANDISE
If you ordered merchandise, it will be available from the Dirt High Promotions merchandise stall, they have a list of your name and sizes please show some ID to pick up your order.

2024 Manjimup 15000 Junior Supplementary Regulations

- ANNOUNCEMENT
Dirt High Promotions, known as the Promotor, will conduct the meeting known as The Manjimup 15000 Junior Event. - JURISDICTION
- 2.1. The above mentioned Event has been authorised by Motorcycling Western Australia which has issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit number (TBA) and is open to holders of current Motorcycling Australia Junior National Licences, no once event licences will be available for this event. 50cc Demo’s can obtain a Mini Licence, Introductory Licence, Junior Restricted Licence or a Junior National Competition Licence.
- 2.2. The meeting will be held in accordance with the current General Competition Rules (GCR’s), these Supplementary Regulations, MA policies and any final instructions approved by Motorcycling Western Australia. By entering this meeting all parties agree to comply with such rules, regulations, by-laws and instructions.
- 2.3. Licencees from other Federations are also eligible to compete providing they have an FIM licence and/or Start Permission from their FMN.

- 4.1. Entries will be online via Ridernet.
- 4.2. All entries will include a $5 admin fee, transponder hire is an additional $15 per transponder ifrequired.
- 4.3. Entries will close at 11:59pm on the 12th of May 2024.
- 4.4. Late entries may be accepted up to the 26th of May and will incur a $50 late fee however they will notbe entered into the program.
- 4.5. Sponsors will be capped at 10 sponsors per rider, they will be published the way they are entered intoridernet. Please ensure that spelling and punctuation is correct. Sponsors will be shown next to rider’sname in the program at the promotors discretion.
- 4.6. All Junior riders must hold a valid Junior Competition Licence and Logbook clearly showing coachingfor the bike capacity they will be competing on.
- 4.7. In case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all or any part of the entry fee may beretained by the Promotor, subject to the prior express approval of Motorcycling Western Australia.
- 4.8. Entry fees will only be refunded if a rider informs the Race Secretary, in writing, 7 days before theevent. A medical certificate is required if a rider withdraws less than 7 days before the event.
- 4.9. Cancellation/withdrawals prior to the closing date will be permitted minus a $20.00 administration fee.After the closing date refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis by to the promotor.

6. ENTRY PASSES
6.1. All riders and mechanics are required to pay to enter through the admission gate. Adults $45.00 each Children 5-U16 $25.00. No entry passes will be issued.
7. INSURANCE
- 7.1. Those who hold an MA licence current for the duration of the Event, and officials, who are signed on for the Event are covered by MA’s National Personal Accident Scheme which provides basic cover for the rehabilitation expenses, death and/or permanent disability benefits. For more information see Insurance – Motorcycling Australia (ma.org.au)
- 7.2. Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees.
8. MEDICAL SERVICES
- 8.1. Medical services provided will meet the MA requirements.
- 8.2. First Aid MUST be accepted wherever deemed necessary by attending first aides.
- 8.3. The Steward and/or Clerk of Course has the right to refuse further racing of a rider if first aidrequirements are not adhered to.
- 8.4. The Steward will collect information from the injury reports and relay this to the MWA office where itwill be recorded and that you require a certificate before you can compete in any further events.
- 8.5. Any rider transported via Ambulance or private vehicle will require a medical certificate prior tocompeting in any further events.Non Concussion related injuryWhere a rider injury (resulting in suspension) does not involve a concussion injury, any accompanying medical clearance certificate must state that XX is medically cleared to participate in motorcycling activity from … (date).Concussion InjuryAll concussions will be dealt with using Motorcycling Australia Concussion Management Guidelines. Where a rider has been subject to a concussion injury, please note that a mandatory exclusion period as per the below.
Medical clearance is required prior to any practice or competition using the Motorcycling Australia Return to Sport form available from https://www.ma.org.au/wp- content/uploads/2023/12/Motorcycling-Australia-Return-to-Sport-Form-v.2.pdfChildren Under 18 YearsTo compete again, athletes need to undergo a 14 day non-riding period Starting from when they are SYMPTOM FREE and get a medical clearance.
9. TRANSPONDERS
9.1. Transponders will be compulsory at this event (Except for 50cc Demo class). It is compulsory to have purchased and fitted a transponder bracket prior to this meeting. Transponder brackets are available to purchase for $17.50 from Motorcycling WA or at the event. You must supply your own cable ties.
- 9.2. When a transponder is transferred to the competitor, it is the competitors responsibility for any repairs or replacement cost of the transmitter, if damaged or lost.
- 9.3. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure the transponders are mounted correctly, and securely to prevent damage from fouling other components on the machine.
- 9.4. It is the competitors responsibility that transponders are returned in good condition at the end of the event, or if due to machine failure or injury before the machine leaves the pit area. Competitors WILL be fined $50 for not returning transponders on the day.
- 9.5. Transponders must be returned to the designated area/person as advised at riders briefing.
- 9.6. Transponders must be returned within 30 minutes from the conclusion of racing, you will have 7 daysto returned your transponder to the MWA office. If you do not return it within 7 days you will receive a $350.00 replacement invoice and your licence will be instantly suspended until you return the transponder or you pay the invoice.
- 9.7. Transponders must be fitted for all practice sessions.
NOTE: The onus is on the guardian/rider to ensure transponders are on machines prior to each event.
10. SCRUTINEERING
- 10.1. This event will be self scrutineering
- 10.2. Scrutineering times will be listed in the final instructions along with self scrutineering forms
- 10.3. Self scrutineering forms will be online and will be applicable to all classes and must be completed priorto sign on. Incomplete forms will not be accepted (i.e. incomplete or correct vin numbers).
- 10.4. Prior to signing on please present to the Scrutineer to confirm that your forms have been received andthat all details are correct.
- 10.5. Random Scrutineering and eligibility checks will be carried out at any time during the event for allclasses including power outputs on Stark Varg Machines.
- 10.6. Scrutineers will report any rider that has been found to have supplied misleading information or notcomplied with the self-scrutineering form, to the Clerk of Course for their actioning. Penalties will apply for failure to comply or supplying misleading information, including up to but not limited to exclusion from the event.
- 10.7. Machines which suffer accident damage in practice or race sessions must be re-examined by the Scrutineer before participating again.
- 10.8. Machines will not be sealed for later checking after the event. All machines that are to be pulled down and scrutineered will take place at the circuit before any machine is released by the Scrutineer. A member of the riders team must be always available to carry out the strip down under the control of the Scrutineer. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in this matter being referred to the Clerk of Course for further action.
- 10.9. In addition to supervising the pulling down and checking of machines after official protests have been received by the Clerk of Course in accordance with the GCRs, the Steward can order that any machine be measured and if this occurs the Scrutineer will supervise a team member to pull down any machine that has taken part in the event. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in this matter being referred to the Clerk of Course for further action.
10.10. Cameras may be fitted to the Motorcycle provided they are securely mounted. Camera mounts are subject to approval by the Chief Scrutineer. Helmet cameras are not permitted unless the camera is integrated into the helmet, be design of the manufacturer.
10.11. Tear offs are permitted at this venue.
11. MACHINESANDRIDERS
11.1. All machines entered must comply with the current GCRs.
11.2. Multiple entry of the one machine in the same class of the competition in not permitted.
12.
11.3. Change of eligible machines is allowed provided it has been through scrutineering and designated to the one rider provided it is not during competition.
11.4. In the event of borrowing another competitor’s bike, the bike must have completed scrutineering, and a change of machine form submitted and approved by the Clerk of Course via the Race Secretary.
ELECTRIC MACHINES
- 12.1. Only machines on the Electric Motorcycle Approved Competition List will be allowed to compete which can be found here Electric-Bike-Approved-Competition-List-25.01.2024.pdf (ma.org.au)
- 12.2. All machines must meet Australian Standards for electric vehicles and pass scrutineering prior to being permitted to compete.
- 12.3. All electric machines must comply with Appendix D of the Manual of Motorcycle Sport (MoMS)
- 12.4. Riders competing on Stark Varg Machines must complete the online self-scrutineering form, you alsoare required to present your machine and phone to the scrutineer for locking into Race Mode withcorrect power output for the class entered.
- 12.5. Charging with OEM wall socket charger up to 3.5Kw/h may be done following the guidelines of themanufacturer in the general paddock area. The charging system must be automatic and must ensurethat the battery cannot be overcharged or damaged if left permanently connected to the charger.
- 12.6. A separate fast charging area will be provided and controlled to allow safe fast charging of electricMachines or removeable batteries. It is not permitted to fast charge Machines in the general paddock area.
RIDING NUMBERS
- 13.1. All number plates on all machines MUST comply with the GCRs and must not contain any decals or advertising other than the required MA decal.
- 13.2. No Junior or Senior may compete, except in Inter-Club / closed-to-Club Competitions, unless wearing the Machine identification number on their back in contrasting colours and with a minimum size of 125mm height and 20mm width of stroke.

15. ENTRIESTOCONSTITUEACLASS
- 15.1. To constitute a class the number of contestants entered an competing in each class shall be a minimum of 20 with a maximum of 40. Extra classes MAY be introduced depending on entries received.
- 15.2. Should extra classes be added the classes will be divided on grade.
- 15.3. Classes may be combined to suit entries received.
- START AND FINISHES
- 16.1. Starts will be by individually backward falling self penalising gates, clutch start. Any rider who is absent when called to select their gate will forfeit their gate pick.
- 16.2. Competitors will be called to the start line at least 2 minutes before each start.
- 16.3. Competitors must be at the gate drop of that race to be deemed a starter in said race.
- 16.4. At the end of 2 minutes and when the starter is ready, a 15 second sign will be held up for a full 15seconds.
- 16.5. At the end of the 15 seconds, a 5 second sign will be displayed.
- 16.6. The gate drop will be between 5 and 10 seconds after the 5 second sign is shown.
- 16.7. Competitors may use up to 2 starting blocks (one per side) which will not interfere with thecompetitor, or any other competitor, or their machines and must be able to start in the event unaidedwhile sitting on the machine.
- 16.8. Riders/crew may not tamper with the starting gate or cross to the live side of the gate at any time.
- 16.9. Finish method. A chequered flag will be displayed to each competitor as each crosses the line, to signalthe end of the race.
- GRIDPOSITIONS
- 17.1. Gate positions will be drawn by ballot by the rider for the first race using pegs. Peg 1 = 1st gate pick, peg 2 = 2nd gate pick and so on. Gate position will then be determined for the following race by your previous race place. 1st place = 1st gate choice, 2nd place = 2nd gate choice and so on. Riders that DNF will have the last gate pick in order of DNF.
- 17.2. Shootout gate pick

20. RACEFORMAT
20.1. On the 31st of May a practice session will be offered from 8:00AM and 11:00AM order of practice will be advised in final instructions.
20.2. Practice starts will not be permitted.
20.3. It is envisaged that all practice groups will receive 3 x 8 minute practice sessions.
20.4. First lap of practice will be under a stationary yellow flag.
20.5. On the 1st of June practice will commence at 7:30AM for all capacity classes. Minimum 3 laps time
permitting.

On Saturday riders will be marked off the register in the dummy grid prior to practice.
22. PROTESTS
- 22.1. Any protest must:
- 22.2. Be in writing;
- 22.3. Be accompanied by the prescribed fee of $100 (plus the applicable bond under GCR 5.1.7 where theprotest involves the measurement of an engine or component of an engine) which will be refunded ifthe protest is upheld;
- 22.4. Be received by the Clerk of Course and conveyed to the Steward;
- 22.5. Comply with the following time limits:
22.5.1. For a protest under sub-Rules a) and
b) of the previous GCR, 48 hours thirty (30) minutes after being informed of the decision; 22.5.2. For a protest under sub-Rule
c) of the previous GCR being a Speedway or Supercross Event, within five (5) minutes after the finish of the Competition where the action or conduct took place, or for any other Event within thirty (30) minutes of such action or conduct.
22.6. The following additional requirements apply to all competitors who are under the age of 16 years and seeking to protest the action or conduct of any other competitor, Official or Support Person during Competition:
- 22.6.1. A protest may only be made by a competitor;
- 22.6.2. The competitor must indicate the intent to protest to an Official prior to returning to the pits;
- 22.6.3. The Clerk of Course must designate an area, to be announced at the riders’ briefing and to be
marked by a purple flag, where an Official must be present to note any indications of protest;
- 22.6.4. No discussion on the content of the protest may take place at the marked position; and
- 22.6.5. A competitor who indicates an intent to protest must return to the pits and present the
protest to the Clerk of Course within the time limits referred to in the previous rule.
- CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
- 23.1. Track name, Cosy Creek.
- 23.2. Track length, 2.1km
- 23.3. Track surface, Soil types vary from hard pack to gravel, loam and sand.
- 23.4. A variety of large and small jumps, corners vary from flat hard pack, to large berms and a variety ofchallenging sandy turns, then throw in a set of preformed sand rollers this track has a bit of everything. Fun fast flowing track.
- AWARDS&PRIZEMONEY24.1. Trophies will be awarded in all classes on entries received, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class. 24.2. 50cc demonstration riders will be presented with participation awards of equal value. 24.3. Shootout trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, $200 for 1st position in the shootouts.
24.4. $100 MX store hole shot awards per race, Shoot out and 50cc demo excluded. - PAYGPAYG Withholding affects the payment of prizemoney. If you do not provide an ABN or declare the sport is a hobby, the Promoter must withhold 46.5% of prize money over $50.00 which is otherwise payable to you. Please tick one of the boxes on the entry form and if appropriate provide your ABN to ensure the full amount of prize money is paid to you.
- PRESENTATIONSPresentations will be held 30 minutes after completion of the final race.
- FACILITIES
- 27.1. Camping will only be available to those who are participating in the event. Camping will be $35 per adult per night and $25 per child per night.
- 27.2. Toilets and showers available

- NOISE
Sound testing may take place at any time at the discretion of the Chief Scrutineer or the Clerk of Course. All machines must comply with the GCRs for all sound testing.
- ANTIDOPINGPOLICY
- 29.1. All competitors and officials are advised that drug testing may take place in accordance with MA’s Anti- Doping Policy, as carried out by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority. Refer to MA website for details.
- 29.2. If any doubts exist over banned substances, it is recommended competitors contact the Drugs in Sport Hotline, ph: 1800 020 506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prizemoney may be delayed at MWA discretion until the results of the tests are known.
- DRUG&ALCOHOLTESTINGAll competitors and officials are advised that random drug and alcohol testing may take place during the competition. Refer to MA website for details on the Safety Policy – Drug and Alcohol testing.
- CODES OF BEHAVIOURAll competitors, officials and parents are reminded of MA’s zero tolerance of poor behaviour, either on or off track. The codification of the behaviours expected of MA members and all who attend or participate in motorcycling is contained within MA’s policies, including its Member Welfare Policy and its Social Media Policy, which can be found at Policies and Sports Integrity Page- Motorcycling Australia (ma.org.au).
- RIGHT TO USE IMAGE
It is a condition of entry that consent is given by the entrant/rider and/or parent/guardian for all photographs and electronic images (including moving images) that may be taken during the event by or on behalf of the Promoters, or with permission of the Promoters. All such images are the property of the Promoters and will only be used in accordance with the Motorcycling Australia Member Protection Policy and for the purposes of promotional or other purposes without further consent being required. - GENERALRULES
- 33.1. Crossing of the track is not permitted unless permission is granted by the Clerk of Course.
- 33.2. The carrying or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the pit area or racing circuit is prohibited.
- 33.3. No animals allowed. Guide dogs and Assistant Animals Excepted
- 33.4. Enclosed footwear must be worn in the pits at all times.
- 33.5. Pit bikes, E-scooters, E-Bikes, Bicycles and Non-competition motorcycles are not permitted to beridden at any time at the venue. Please leave them at home.
- 33.6. No smoking in pit areas.

The above mentioned Event has been authorised by Motorcycling Western Australia which has issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit number (TBA) and is open to holders of current Motorcycling Australia Senior National Licences. No One Event Competition Licences will be issued. One Event Recreational Licences are available for Old Stars recreational class.
- 2.2. The meeting will be held in accordance with the current General Competition Rules (GCR’s), these Supplementary Regulations, MA policies and any final instructions approved by Motorcycling Western Australia. By entering this meeting all parties agree to comply with such rules, regulations, by-laws and instructions.
- 2.3. Licencees from other Federations are also eligible to compete providing they have an FIM licence and/or Start Permission from their FMN.

- 4.1. Entries will be online via Ridernet.
- 4.2. All entries will include a $5 admin fee, transponder hire is an additional $15 per transponder ifrequired.
- 4.3. Entries will close at 11:59pm on the 12th of May 2024.
- 4.4. Late entries may be accepted up to the 26th of May and will incur a $50 late fee however they will notbe entered into the program.
- 4.5. Sponsors will be capped at 10 sponsors per rider, they will be published the way they are entered intoridernet. Please ensure that spelling and punctuation is correct. Sponsors will be shown next to rider’sname in the program at the promotors discretion.
- 4.6. All Senior riders must hold a valid Senior Competition Licence.
- 4.7. In case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all or any part of the entry fee may beretained by the Promotor, subject to the prior express approval of Motorcycling Western Australia.
- 4.8. Entry fees will only be refunded if a rider informs the Race Secretary, in writing, 7 days before theevent. A medical certificate is required if a rider withdraws less than 7 days before the event.
- 4.9. Cancellation/withdrawals prior to the closing date will be permitted minus a $20.00 administration fee.After the closing date refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis by to the promotor.

7. INSURANCE
- 7.1. Those who hold an MA licence current for the duration of the Event, and officials, who are signed on for the Event are covered by MA’s National Personal Accident Scheme which provides basic cover for the rehabilitation expenses, death and/or permanent disability benefits. - 7.2. Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees.
8. MEDICAL SERVICES
- 8.1. Medical services provided will meet the MA requirements.
- 8.2. First Aid MUST be accepted wherever deemed necessary by attending first aides.
- 8.3. The Steward and/or Clerk of Course has the right to refuse further racing of a rider if first aidrequirements are not adhered to.
- 8.4. The Steward will collect information from the injury reports and relay this to the MWA office where itwill be recorded and that you require a certificate before you can compete in any further events.
- 8.5. Any rider transported via Ambulance or private vehicle will require a medical certificate prior tocompeting in any further events.Non Concussion related injuryWhere a rider injury (resulting in suspension) does not involve a concussion injury, any accompanying medical clearance certificate must state that XX is medically cleared to participate in motorcycling activity from … (date).Concussion InjuryAll concussions will be dealt with using Motorcycling Australia Concussion Management Guidelines. Where a rider has been subject to a concussion injury, please note that a mandatory exclusion period as per the below.

To compete again, athletes need to undergo a 10-day non-riding period AND be symptom free AND get medical clearance.
9. TRANSPONDERS
- 9.1. Transponders will be compulsory at this event. It is compulsory to have purchased and fitted a transponder bracket prior to this meeting. Transponder brackets are available to purchase for $17.50 from Motorcycling WA or at the event. You must supply your own cable ties.
- 9.2. When a transponder is transferred to the competitor, it is the competitors responsibility for any repairs or replacement cost of the transmitter, if damaged or lost.
- 9.3. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure the transponders are mounted correctly, and securely to prevent damage from fouling other components on the machine.
- 9.4. It is the competitors responsibility that transponders are returned in good condition at the end of the event, or if due to machine failure or injury before the machine leaves the pit area. Competitors WILL be fined $50 for not returning transponders on the day.
- 9.5. Transponders must be returned to the designated area/person as advised at riders briefing.
- 9.6. Transponders must be returned within 30 minutes from the conclusion of racing, you will have 7 daysto returned your transponder to the MWA office. If you do not return it within 7 days you will receive a $350.00 replacement invoice and your licence will be instantly suspended until you return the transponder or you pay the invoice.
- 9.7. Transponders must be fitted for all practice sessions.
NOTE: The onus is on the guardian/rider to ensure transponders are on machines prior to each event.
10. SCRUTINEERING
- 10.1. This event will be self scrutineering
- 10.2. Scrutineering times will be listed in the final instructions along with self scrutineering forms
- 10.3. Self scrutineering forms will be online and will be applicable to all classes and must be completed priorto sign on. Incomplete forms will not be accepted (i.e. incomplete or correct vin numbers).
- 10.4. Prior to signing on please present to the Scrutineer to confirm that your forms have been received andthat all details are correct.
- 10.5. Random Scrutineering and eligibility checks will be carried out at any time during the event for allclasses including power outputs on Stark Varg Machines.
- 10.6. Scrutineers will report any rider that has been found to have supplied misleading information or notcomplied with the self-scrutineering form, to the Clerk of Course for their actioning. Penalties will apply for failure to comply or supplying misleading information, including up to but not limited to exclusion from the event.
- 10.7. Machines which suffer accident damage in practice or race sessions must be re-examined by the Scrutineer before participating again.
- 10.8. Machines will not be sealed for later checking after the event. All machines that are to be pulled down and scrutineered will take place at the circuit before any machine is released by the Scrutineer. A member of the riders team must be always available to carry out the strip down under the control of the Scrutineer. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in this matter being referred to the Clerk of Course for further action.
- 10.9. In addition to supervising the pulling down and checking of machines after official protests have been received by the Clerk of Course in accordance with the GCRs, the Steward can order that any machine be measured and if this occurs the Scrutineer will supervise a team member to pull down any machine that has taken part in the event. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in this matter being referred to the Clerk of Course for further action.
10.10. Cameras may be fitted to the Motorcycle provided they are securely mounted. Camera mounts are subject to approval by the Chief Scrutineer. Helmet cameras are not permitted unless the camera is integrated into the helmet, be design of the manufacturer.
10.11. Tear offs are permitted at this venue.
11. MACHINESANDRIDERS

- 11.1. All machines entered must comply with the current GCRs.
- 11.2. Multiple entry of the one machine in the same class of the competition in not permitted.
- 11.3. Change of eligible machines is allowed provided it has been through scrutineering and designated tothe one rider provided it is not during competition.
- 11.4. In the event of borrowing another competitor’s bike, the bike must have completed scrutineering, anda change of machine form submitted and approved by the Clerk of Course via the Race Secretary.
ELECTRIC MACHINES
- 12.1. Only machines on the Electric Motorcycle Approved Competition List will be allowed to compete which can be found here Electric-Bike-Approved-Competition-List-25.01.2024.pdf (ma.org.au)
- 12.2. All machines must meet Australian Standards for electric vehicles and pass scrutineering prior to being permitted to compete.
- 12.3. All electric machines must comply with Appendix D of the Manual of Motorcycle Sport (MoMS)
- 12.4. Riders competing on Stark Varg Machines must complete the online self-scrutineering form, you alsoare required to present your machine and phone to the scrutineer for locking into Race Mode withcorrect power output for the class entered.
- 12.5. Charging with OEM wall socket charger up to 3.5Kw/h may be done following the guidelines of themanufacturer in the general paddock area. The charging system must be automatic and must ensurethat the battery cannot be overcharged or damaged if left permanently connected to the charger.
- 12.6. A separate fast charging area will be provided and controlled to allow safe fast charging of electricMachines or removeable batteries. It is not permitted to fast charge Machines in the general paddock area.
RIDING NUMBERS
- 13.1. All number plates on all machines MUST comply with the GCRs and must not contain any decals or advertising other than the required MA decal.
- 13.2. No senior may compete, except in Inter-Club / closed-to-Club Competitions, unless wearing the Machine identification number on their back in contrasting colours and with a minimum size of 125mm height and 20mm width of stroke.

15.1. To constitute a class the number of contestants entered an competing in each class shall be a minimum of 18 with a maximum of 40. Extra classes MAY be introduced depending on entries received.
15.2. Only 1 class per rider permitted except 125cc class.
- START AND FINISHES
- 16.1. Starts will be by individually backward falling self penalising gates, clutch start. Any rider who is absent when called to select their gate will forfeit their gate pick.
- 16.2. Competitors will be called to the start line at least 2 minutes before each start.
- 16.3. Competitors must be at the gate drop of that race to be deemed a starter in said race.
- 16.4. At the end of 2 minutes and when the starter is ready, a 15 second sign will be held up for a full 15seconds.
- 16.5. At the end of the 15 seconds, a 5 second sign will be displayed.
- 16.6. The gate drop will be between 5 and 10 seconds after the 5 second sign is shown.
- 16.7. Competitors may use up to 2 starting blocks (one per side) which will not interfere with thecompetitor, or any other competitor, or their machines and must be able to start in the event unaidedwhile sitting on the machine.
- 16.8. Riders/crew may not tamper with the starting gate or cross to the live side of the gate at any time.
- 16.9. Finish method. A chequered flag will be displayed to each competitor as each crosses the line, to signalthe end of the race.
- GRIDPOSITIONS
- 17.1. Gate positions will be drawn by ballot by the rider for the first race using pegs. Peg 1 = 1st gate pick, peg 2 = 2nd gate pick and so on. Gate position will then be determined for the following race by your previous race place. 1st place = 1st gate choice, 2nd place = 2nd gate choice and so on. Riders that DNF will have the last gate pick in order of DNF.
- 17.2. Shootout gate pick will be first to the line.
- RIDERSBREIFING18.1. Riders briefing will be held at 7:05AM prior to the commencement of Practice, which all competitors MUST attend.

20. RACEFORMAT
- 20.1. On the 31st of May a practice session will be offered from 11:00AM and 2:00PM order of practice will be advised in final instructions.
- 20.2. Practice starts will not be permitted.
- 20.3. It is envisaged that all practice groups will receive 3 x 8 minute practice sessions.
- 20.4. First lap of practice will be under a stationary yellow flag.
- 20.5. On the 2nd of June practice will commence at 7:30AM for all capacity classes. Minimum 3 laps timepermitting.

22. PROTESTS
- 22.1. Any protest must:

- 22.3. Be accompanied by the prescribed fee of $100 (plus the applicable bond under GCR 5.1.7 where theprotest involves the measurement of an engine or component of an engine) which will be refunded ifthe protest is upheld;
- 22.4. Be received by the Clerk of Course and conveyed to the Steward;

22.5. Comply with the following time limits: 22.5.1. For a protest under sub-Rules
a) and
b) of the previous GCR, 48 hours thirty (30) minutes after being informed of the decision; 22.5.2. For a protest under sub-Rule
c) of the previous GCR being a Speedway or Supercross Event, within five (5) minutes after the finish of the Competition where the action or conduct took place, or for any other Event within thirty (30) minutes of such action or conduct.
22.6. The following additional requirements apply to all competitors who are under the age of 16 years and seeking to protest the action or conduct of any other competitor, Official or Support Person during Competition:
- 22.6.1. A protest may only be made by a competitor;
- 22.6.2. The competitor must indicate the intent to protest to an Official prior to returning to the pits;
- 22.6.3. The Clerk of Course must designate an area, to be announced at the riders’ briefing and to be
marked by a purple flag, where an Official must be present to note any indications of protest;
- 22.6.4. No discussion on the content of the protest may take place at the marked position; and
- 22.6.5. A competitor who indicates an intent to protest must return to the pits and present the
protest to the Clerk of Course within the time limits referred to in the previous rule.
23. CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
- 23.1. Track name, Cosy Creek.
- 23.2. Track length, 2.1km
- 23.3. Track surface, Soil types vary from hard pack to gravel, loam and sand.
- 23.4. A variety of large and small jumps, corners vary from flat hard pack, to large berms and a variety ofchallenging sandy turns, then throw in a set of preformed sand rollers this track has a bit of everything. Fun fast flowing track.

25. PAYG
PAYG Withholding affects the payment of prizemoney. If you do not provide an ABN or declare the sport is a hobby, the Promoter must withhold 46.5% of prize money over $50.00 which is otherwise payable to you.

- FACILITIES
- 27.1. Camping will only be available to those who are participating in the event. Camping will be $35 per adult per night and $25 per child per night.

- NOISESound testing may take place at any time at the discretion of the Chief Scrutineer or the Clerk of Course. All machines must comply with the GCRs for all sound testing.
- ANTIDOPINGPOLICY
- 29.1. All competitors and officials are advised that drug testing may take place in accordance with MA’s Anti- Doping Policy, as carried out by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority. Refer to MA website for details.
- 29.2. If any doubts exist over banned substances, it is recommended competitors contact the Drugs in Sport Hotline, ph: 1800 020 506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prizemoney may be delayed at MWA discretion until the results of the tests are known.
- DRUG&ALCOHOLTESTINGAll competitors and officials are advised that random drug and alcohol testing may take place during the competition. Refer to MA website for details on the Safety Policy – Drug and Alcohol testing.
- CODES OF BEHAVIOURAll competitors, officials and parents are reminded of MA’s zero tolerance of poor behaviour, either on or off track. The codification of the behaviours expected of MA members and all who attend or participate in motorcycling is contained within MA’s policies, including its Member Welfare Policy and its Social Media Policy, which can be found at Policies and Sports Integrity Page – Motorcycling Australia (ma.org.au).
- RIGHT TO USE IMAGE
It is a condition of entry that consent is given by the entrant/rider and/or parent/guardian for all photographs and electronic images (including moving images) that may be taken during the event by or on behalf of the Promoters, or with permission of the Promoters. All such images are the property of the Promoters and will only be used in accordance with the Motorcycling Australia Member Protection Policy and for the purposes of promotional or other purposes without further consent being required. - GENERALRULES
- 33.1. Crossing of the track is not permitted unless permission is granted by the Clerk of Course.
- 33.2. The carrying or consumption of alcoholic beverages in the pit area or racing circuit is prohibited.
- 33.3. No animals allowed. Guide dogs and Assistant Animals Excepted
- 33.4. Enclosed footwear must be worn in the pits at all times.
- 33.5. Pit bikes, E-scooters, E-Bikes, Bicycles and Non-competition motorcycles are not permitted to beridden at any time at the venue. Please leave them at home.

Camping Information
Register for camping when you register to ride. You need to be part of a riders team to camp.
All vehicles must have a camping identifying number placed on windscreen, Camping costs $30 per adult per night, and child $25.
You must be associated with a rider to camp; thus, the onus is on the rider for the behaviour of the campers who have named him/her.
Camping opens officially at 09:00am Thursday 30th March 2024.
After you have passed through the admission gate you will travel straight ahead following the one-way road until you get to the Camp Manager. HERE you will be ticked off the Camping Register, receive your Camping Wristbands and your car will have an identifying number placed on the windscreen.
The camping grounds are fenced with security at both entrance and exit, after 05:00pm only campers will be permitted in the campgrounds and those without camping wristbands will be asked to vacate. Saturday night excluded for Fox 4 Cross MTB Event.
We ask for you to show courtesy to your fellow campers and keep the noise levels down after 09:00pm.
You will be required to wear your wristband for the entire weekend, should it become ragged the camp manager will replace it when you hand over your old wristband, it must be on your wrist to be eligible for a replacement.
Please note: Your race bikes are permitted to be ridden at a walking pace to your camp or pit throughout the race day, but after 30 minutes of racing ending no bikes are to be ridden unless they have permission from the promoter.
