The Brookton Pony Express Series is heading back to Pingelly this July after a successful debut on the enduro racing calendar last year.
Western Australia’s premier Pony Express series, hosted by Dirt High Promotions, has announced registrations to Round 1 of the Brookton Pony Express, brought to you by KTM Australia, have opened for the Pingelly enduro.
The opening round is set to take place in West Pingelly again, with Flat Track motocross kicking off the event on the Friday night before the return of the Junior Cross Country event on the Saturday, followed by the Pony Express Enduro on the Sunday.
Last year’s 2024 Pingelly race marked the return of the Pony Express series for the first time in two years, after the enduro racing series was forced to take a break following event organiser Willie Thomson’s near fatal accident in 2022.
Bunbury KTM’s Benjamin Lynch and Trent Stone dominated the Expert Division of 2024 series, winning the opening round in Pingelly and comfortably taking out the three race series.
Scotty Hewitt wound back the clock and took out the Prologue in Round 3, while Jackson McGrath paired up with Junior standout Jayden O’Meagher, finishing P2 overall and winning the Prologue at Travis Eva’s Brookton round.
Mr Thomson said Pingelly’s debut on the Pony Express calendar last year was incredible.
“I was was overwhelmed by the response from the WA enduro community,” he said.
“Riders, teams and spectators packed West Pginelly.
“It was a huge success and we can’t wait to go back there to do it all again.”
Following the opening round in Pingelly, the Brookton Pony Express heads south to Brookton for Round 2 for August 1 – 3 and finishing off at Travis Eva’s property just north of Brookton August 29 to 31.
Entries to Round 1 of the Pony Express Series are open now via Ridernet. Event information can be on the Dirt High Promotions event page. Do not miss your chance to race in the 2025 Brookton Pony Express!
