It is with the deepest of regrets that Dirt High Promotions announce the cancellation of Tumbulgum 2015
After securing a great property bureaucracy and shire paper work has held us up for months.
Our normal forward planning has been hindered by uncertainty, and the event was finally given approval on the 29th June.
For 12 years Tumbulgum has held a reputation for being a quality event catering to not only grass roots racers but some of the best riders in not only the State but the whole of Australia.
The fall out of this is we do not wish to produce an event that does not meet the expectations of our riders or our Sponsors, with only half the rider numbers of previous years, this would be the reality.
With the impact of losing the original Tumbulgum venue we had thought that perhaps we could continue as we new it, 2015 would have been the 13th Tumbulgum unlucky for some unlucky for Tumbulgum, moving the event to Winter and a new venue has proved to be an unpopular decision.
Although Natural Terrain Motocross is still well entrenched in Willie Thomson?s focus, it is now under consideration that Tumbulgum will no longer be an annual event or continue with the same name or format.
A decision will be made with our Major Sponsor at year?s end to see where and what the future holds for Natural Terrain Motocross and Dirt High Promotions.
