18-year-old local Patrick Butler has announced he will take on the 2025 Manjimup 15,000 this year, having made the jump to the MAXXIS Pro MX3 series this year.
Growing up with Riverhill Ride Park in his backyard and with Cosy Creek down the road, Butler has amassed an impressive resume under his belt, having won several State championships in his junior career alongside placing second at the 2023 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship.
After an impressive WA MX2 Championship season in 2024, Butler said Cosy Creek is a track that works to his strengths.
“(Manjimup) is one of the biggest motocross tracks in WA,” he said.
“And I really like that about a motocross track, that they are nice and big and open and wide. In my opinion it is probably the greatest track in Australia.”
You can see Patrick Butler take on the 2025 Manjimup 15,000 this June long weekend May 30 – June 1.
