Dirt High Promotions is excited to announce the launch of the Penrite Oil Legends Class, set to debut at the 2026 Berry Sweet Manjimup 15000.
Australian Motorsport Hall of Fame inductees and even former FIM 500cc Grand Prix winners will descend to the South West town of Manjimup to dust off their racing gear for a special four moto race series.
The new Legends Class, brought to you by Penrite Oil, is a new racing class being organised by Dirt High Promotions as part of the 2026 Berry Sweet Manjimup 15000 at Cosy Creek MX Circuit.
Set to take place from May 29 to May 31, this series is open only to riders aged 55 and over.
Dirt High Promotions owner Willie Thomson says he is leaving a number of limited places open for amateur riders over the age of 55 hoping to share the starting gate with some of the sport’s greatest competitors.
The class will open with practice on Friday, May 29, before they swing into the opening moto early on Saturday. The remaining three motos will be contested on Sunday morning, allowing the legends to race before the Cosy Creek MX Circuit reaches its toughest conditions later in the day.
Event coordinator Willie Thomson said he is excited to introduce the new class and bring some of the sport’s most iconic names back to Manjimup.
“We have some of the biggest names in motocross coming down to Manji this year,” Thomson said.
“Everyone remembers how great motocross was in the 80s and 90s, and we’re hoping to bring some of that era back to Cosy Creek MX Circuit.”
“After two record breaking years for the Manjimup 15000, we’re looking to take the 2026 event to the next level.”
Presented by Penrite Oil, the Legends Class promises to add another exciting chapter to one of Australia’s most iconic motocross weekends.
Rider announcements for the Legends field are set to be announced over the coming weeks.
Fans can follow Dirt High Promotions on Instagram and the Manjimup 15000 Facebook page as the first A-list rider announcements are revealed in the coming weeks.
Riders interested in joining the grid alongside these legends will be able to register when entries open in early April.
